I’ve decided I want to blog more…in fact, as I am fairly new to blogging, i though this would be great motivation for me!

While my ‘main’ reason to blog is about photography – I also want to do some writing and sharing – so this is perfect.

Rather than just thinking about doing it, I’m starting right now.  I will be posting on this blog once a week for all of 2011.

I know it won’t be easy, but it might be fun, inspiring, awesome and wonderful. Therefore I’m promising to make use of The DailyPost, and the community of other bloggers with similiar goals, to help me along the way, including asking for help when I need it and encouraging others when I can.

If you already read my blog, I hope you’ll encourage me with comments and likes, and good will along the way.

This blog is mainly about sharing the places I visit as a photographer through words and photographs – with some input about how I view the world in general thrown in.

I have a number of photos which are my personal favourites which I would like to share …the rest of my writings are a work in progress….a journal of my excursions.

Here are just a few photos to start off with – hope you will continue to drop in and take a look in the near future:

Private Jetty:

Sorrento, Victoria where there is a little beach, with lots of piers and small boathouses.

Green Folds:

Taken in Gippsland, a beautiful region of old volcanic hills which produce these dramatic folds.

This wonderful tree was taken in Wallan, country Victoria. An extremely foggy day, which is rare for this part of the world, I only found it after getting completely lost !

Reflective times:

The end of the day in Lakes Entrance, Victoria

Let It Wash Over You:

Melbourne singer Jess McAvoy – worth listening to !
